One thing you probably never thought you needed in your life is a potato portrait of Drake, until now. Someone painted a portrait of Drake on a baked potato and is selling it on eBay. The potato is actually a piece of viral history too.\nIt actually all came to be from a TMZ contest called the Potato Portrait contest. People were invited to carve or draw celebrity faces onto potatoes for a chance to win $3000. The contest went down just this past week, on February 6. The top five potatoes included Elton John, Tupac, Harvey Levin, Barack Obama, and of course Drake.\nREAD ALSO: Drake Just Dropped Something New, But It's Not Music\nThe "Draked Potato" also named "Aubrey Drake Yam" was done by Brittany Sartor from California and she actually ended up winning the contest. She told TMZ that she was going to use the money for her college tuition. On top of that, she also said she would be auctioning the prize-winning potato on eBay with the proceeds going to five different charities.\nThat's exactly what she is doing now. The potato was listed for auction on eBay yesterday and according to the description, she will be dividing the proceeds between Tony La Russa’s A.R.F., East Bay SPCA, Animal Place, East Oakland Burrito Roll, and Berkeley Burrito Project.\n@bayareaveganembedded via\nThis is a great use of her potato portrait but unfortunately, so far the "Draked Potato" isn't getting the eBay reception she had hoped for. After being listed last night, the potato has so far only received one bid and it's only for $15 USD.\nThat means if the auction ended right now, each charity on the list would only receive $3. We don't know for sure, but that's likely not the contribution Sartor was looking to make. It's understandable why they thought it would do better though.\nREAD ALSO: The "Fiji Water Girl" Has Been Completely Booked Up Since The Golden Globes\nThroughout the process of making the potato portrait, Sartor's fiance shared a video of the finished product on his twitter and it went kind of viral. The video has been viewed over 130,000 times, has 59 retweets and 473 likes.\nYo @drake can my girl @britandsean get a RT for the best #DrakedPotato ever? And maybe a vote for the #TMZPotatoPortrait contest!https://t.co/DsTIT8ukea pic.twitter.com/pAwEII66OD\n— SeanLyons (@Spechtaculyons) February 6, 2019\nNone the less, while people have no problem liking a potato online, apparently actually buying it goes one step too far. If you do actually want to buy this potato though, you have until this upcoming Sunday night when the auction officially closes.
