When I was younger, I was pretty much always the tallest person in my class. Sure, there are definitely some benefits to being tall, but as a 14-year-old girl, you better believe I felt pretty awkward towering over everyone else. If you've ever felt the same way as me, Netflix has just the movie for you! Tall Girl on Netflix Canada is the new Sierra Burgess Is A Loser.\nEarlier today, Netflix released the trailer for their latest project, Tall Girl. The movie stars Ava Michelle (who you may recognize as a former Dance Moms star). Michelle plays Jodi, a 6'1 16-year-old girl who's always hated being the tallest girl in school.\nNetflix\nBecause she's so much taller than all of her peers, Jodi feels pretty awkward, to say the least. One thing that's particularly hard for her is the fact that she's inches above all the boys she knows, making it almost impossible for her to find a suitable crush.\nAs if by magic, a Swedish exchange student named Stig ends up at Jodi's school, and not only is he taller than her, he also happens to be super cute! Jodi decided to shoot her shot at Stig, but the most popular girl in school has already claimed the Swedish hunk.\nNetflix | YouTube\nTall Girl is not only a coming-of-age cheesy love story, but it's also a self-love story that I think we can all relate to in one way or another. Jodi doesn't need a boyfriend - she needs to "love all 73 inches" of herself, as her best friend would say.\nThe heartwarming movie will be available for streaming on Netflix as of September 13, but if you need something to put you in a better mood today, you can check out the trailer for Tall Girl below.
