With Valentine's Day right around the corner, a lot of people are finding themselves with love on the brain. Unfortunately, there are also some people who are finding themselves dealing with heartbreak and breakups right now. Breakups are never easy, but one thing that makes them a bit more tolerable is remembering to laugh through the pain. Instead of getting revenge, the two bonded together and created a company where they break up couples for cash. Fifteen years later, and their business is still doing better than ever. Because they're in their late 30's though, the two are feeling the pressure to settle down. Because of their previous relationship trauma, Mel and Jen have banded together in a platonic, co-dependent relationship, preventing them from becoming emotionally involved with anyone else. Of course, like any good story, one of the girls runs into an old victim and finds herself catching feelings, causing their Mel and Jen's friendship to be put to the test. The trailer for the film just dropped today, but we already can't wait to see what sort of crazy antics these two get up to. The Breaker Upperers will be available on Netflix as of February 15th - right in time for your post-Valentine's Day blues.
