This New Netflix Horror Movie Is So Scary That People Have Had To Turn It Off
It's being called the scariest movie of the year already!
Netflix is constantly pumping out new show series and movies, but one genre that tends to get overlooked when it comes to Netflix originals is their horror movies. It turns out Netflix is playing when it comes to that genre either, considering their latest horror flick available on the site called Veronica currently boasts a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The flick is about a woman who is determined to protect her younger siblings after an attempt at bringing back her dead father via Ouija board goes bad. A Ouija board seance... because that always ends well, right? To make matters even spookier the plot is based on a true story regarding a police case in Madrid back in 1992.
The movie had actually screened during TIFF last year and was praised for how insanely scary it was. Though the praise continues to pour in and even horror buffs themselves are having trouble falling asleep at night- some found the movie so scary they had to stop watching midway!
Started watching Veronica on Netflix (huge REC fan so interested in anything Paco Plaza is involved in) but the demon walking down the hallway scene freaked me out so much I had to turn it off... #SuchAWuss pic.twitter.com/4oCcjQUJST— Nancy at Chase HQ (@weyland76) February 25, 2018
So it's clear that Veronica is insanely good, and luckily for you, if you want to watch it, you can do so in the comfort of your own home
with all of the lights on and all of your doors locked thanks to Netflix! Though if you want to get a taste of what to expect, you can catch the trailer here:
