It takes a really incredible show to get renewed for a return within days of the first season premiere. That's exactly what happened to the Apple TV+ series that was filmed in Vancouver last year. Jason Momoa in See season two will begin filming in Ontario next month. The Honolulu-born actor plays Baba Voss in the 2019 science fiction drama series created by Steven Knight. Voss is the leader of the tribe called Alkenny, a community of people who have all lost the ability to see. He and his wife give birth to twins who miraculously have the gift of sight and he must protect his children from the queen who's dying to get her hands on them. Season one premiered on Apple TV+ with three episodes on November 1 and a new one dropped every Friday into December. On November 6, the second season was confirmed to be coming soon. Filming for the first season spanned from September 2018 to February 2019. The second month of production saw the cast shift slightly to Vancouver Island in Strathcona Provincial Park and Campbell River. According to What's Filming, production will begin in Ontario on February 3 and go until July 10. There are no set locations confirmed yet but based on the forest setting of the show, they'll likely be needing open land up north. Momoa seemed to really enjoy his time here, and on premiere day he shared an Instagram video of him in Vancouver feeding an Oreo into a bear's mouth.
