If I remember way back to middle school, one of the most exciting parts of any given day would be when the teacher would tell us we were watching Planet Earth. We spent many science classes oogling over the deep sea or lush forests, and ever since those days, I've always found something about nature documentaries to be so soothing. The series is called Our Planet, and it hit Netflix today, April 5th. The eight-episode documentary style show covers everything from frozen parts of the world to the many beautiful freshwater systems around us. You can get a sneak peek of what to expect from the show below:
For some reason, nature documentaries can make certain people really emotionally - maybe it's the up close and personal views of all those adorable baby animals, or maybe it's all the guilt settling in from the realization that human beings are the one's destroying the planet.
