Presented by \nArtificial intelligence (AI) technology is all the rage at the Elevate Tech Conference in Toronto. The city-wide tech and innovation festival, which welcomes top-tier speakers like Michelle Obama and Martha Stewart, is Canada’s largest technology festival; and this year, the event featured exciting previews of the latest gadgets and tech devices people can soon get their hands on.\nOne super interesting thing presented at the conference? The world's first AI toothbrush.\nOral-B, the brand of oral hygiene products from P&G we all know and love, is the first toothbrush company to bring new oral care AI innovations to the conference... and to the world.\nThe brand unveiled the world’s first AI toothbrush, the Oral-B Genius X, at the Elevate Conference. On the surface, the Genius X appears to be a classic electric toothbrush, with features like a round brush head that surrounds each tooth for a better clean, bristles that gently remove surface stains from your teeth, Pressure Control, and a rechargeable stand.\nBut through the power of AI, the Genius X is smart enough to track where you're actually brushing (or not brushing) enough in your mouth, and generate personalized feedback via a Bluetooth-connected app to show you how to achieve better results. Using the brusher’s compiled data, the Oral-B app allows you to send an email from within the app directly to your oral health provider to assist in your dental appointments.\nProcter and Gamble\nAll you have to do is download the Oral-B app and your toothbrush will give you a comprehensive brushing summary. You can choose to have the app open while brushing, or simply sync all the data every couple of days and look at your feedback retrospectively. This feature makes use of the AI to track where you're brushing — including spots you've missed — and generate a personalized summary with feedback and your brushing score!\nWhile brushing, the Genius X includes a built-in adjustable timer to ensure you brush for the length recommended by your professional. If you brush too hard, too little, or just right, the Genius X will also let you know via the app by changing colours and slowing down to prevent damage to your teeth and gums.\nYou can also choose from six different brushing modes to find one that best suits your oral care needs. The toothbrush comes with a sleek, modern travel case that charges both the brush and a USB device, like a smartphone, to make travelling with your power toothbrush easier than ever. The case even offers a built-in smart-hold slot to hold your phone perfectly as you brush so you can use the app while brushing!\nProcter and Gamble\nThe new Oral-B Genius X with AI is available for purchase in Canada later this month, starting at $299 on Amazon. As for colours, the Genius X comes in white, black, orchid purple, sakura pink, and new anthracite gray.\nVisit the Oral-B website, Instagram, Facebook, and Amazon page for more information.
