Presented by If you like food, music and beer, boy, do we have the ultimate summer festival for you! The Festibière de Gatineau (or Gatineau Beerfest, for all of us English Canadians), is Ottawa-Gatineau's largest beer festival and a yearly must-attend event for epicureans looking to taste top products and craft beers in the city. It features hundreds of beers from some of Canada's best breweries, dozens of food stalls, and incredible music from local artists. Festibière de Gatineau Now in its ninth year and welcoming more than 35,000 festivalgoers, the Beerfest is three days of food trucks, vendors, music, activities, and, of course, beer. It's the perfect chance to find your favourite among more than 300 craft beers created by over 40 Quebec breweries, distilleries, and cideries. Lacking enough ale knowledge to consider yourself a cultured craft-beer drinker? Workshops are also part of the program to help you hone your understanding of the fascinating world of craft beer. Try out a pairing workshop like Beer & Cupcakes or Beer & Whiskey, or explore the fabulous world of Quebec hard ciders with the Quebec Ciders workshop. If you're totally new to the world of beer, we recommend Beer 101: a bilingual workshop for people who feel lost and confused when it comes to beer trends and lingo. If you don't know the difference between a white stout and a milkshake imperial IPA, this workshop is for you.
