Canada’s Paralympic Athletes Are Arriving At Pearson Airport Next Week And Here’s How You Can Meet Them
Support some of the country's most awesome athletes.
We can pretty much all agree that making it to any stage of theis a fantastic achievement. Honestly, the discipline, dedication, skill and pure talent you have to have in order to make it is pretty much amazing.
But Canada'sis proving to be extra amazing. Our athletes brought home some serious hardware this year, winning more than 19 medals - making these Winter Games Canada's best Paralympic performance, ever. And the games aren't even over yet!
Canada's 2018 Paralympic Athletes have had a super successful time in PyeongChang so far, and very soon, they'll be making their way back home.
The athletes will land at Pearson International Airport this upcoming March 19 and 20, and thanks to, you'll have the chance to meet them - and be a part of their welcome home event!
On Monday, March 19, twelvewill be arriving at Toronto's Pearson International Airport from South Korea - including Marc Marcoux, Cindy Ouellet, Yves Bourque, Collin Cameron and Mark Arendz; on Tuesday, March 20, Toronto will also welcome the Paralympic Ice Hockey team!
You guys can meet the athletes and be a part of the super fun welcome homeat 5:30 PM, at Toronto Pearson's International Terminal 1 Arrival Hall.
And if you're looking for an easy (and free!) way to get there, CIBC and the have got your back! CIBC will be handing out return tickets to Pearson between 3:30 - 4:30 PM at the UP Express Union platform, so there's absolutely no reason not to cheer on our Paralympic heroes!
Honestly, what could be more fun than participating in the festivities and showing up to welcome home the legit Canadian Paralympic 2018 Winter Games team? Absolutely nothing!
