Kelly Clarkson's "Schitt's Creek" Shoutout At The Critics' Choice Awards Was Epic (VIDEO)
Let's be real, who doesn't love the show?
Last night was a huge one for those in the film and television industry. If you were one of the millions who tuned into the 2020 Critics' Choice Awards, you already know that there was a lot to take in last night from the looks on the red carpet to the winners of the various awards. There was one moment in particular though, that really stood out for Canadians.
Along with the new year came the start of a new season of Schitt's Creek, and because this also happens to be, fans of the series are particularly emotional about it.
At last night's CCA's, Canadian actorwas nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Johnny Rose in the hit Canadian show.
Presenting the honourable award was none other than Kelly Clarkson who, according to her speech, is a huge fan not only of Levy but of the show as a whole.
"I personally love Eugene Levy. I love you, so just want to say Schitt's Creek is the jam. So — here we go," Clarkson said before revealing the winner.
Levy was up against Ted Danson, Walton Goggins, Paul Rudd, Bashir Salahuddin, Ramy Youssef, and Bill Hader, who ended up taking home the CCA.
Although Levy didn't win the award, it's still awesome to see Schitt's Creek get so much love and support, especially from celebrities like Clarkson.
People on Twitter also couldn't help but notice the adorable shoutout.
"Kelly Clarkson just got on stage and called out Eugene Levy and how great Schitt’s Creek is before announcing the winning for best actor in a comedy series and I’m here for it. #CriticsChoice," commented another.
