There is a lot to love about Lana Condor. She's relatable, her BFF is Noah Centineo, and according to her Instagram, she loves carbs just as much as we do. Did I say she's relatable? Anyways, Lana Condor is on the rise and there are a few things you need to look out for.
1. Her first movie was X-Men: Apocalypse
Think Lana Condor was made for romcoms? Well, maybe she was, but she also played a mutant student in the movie in 2016. She got to work alongside actors such as Jennifer Lawrence, Evan Peters, Olivia Munn, and James McAvoy. This is a pretty big deal for your first EVER movie!
2. She was adopted by an Irish woman and Hungarian man
A lot of people (like myself) had no idea Lana was adopted. She was born in Vietnam, and brought to Chicago with her adoptive parents. She has a non-biological brother named Arthur. She now resides in Santa Monica, but it's not known if the whole family moved there.
3. She is a trained ballet dancer
She trained with elite dance companies such as Joffrey Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education as well as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Once she moved to Los Angeles, she danced with the Los Angeles Ballet. She has also been enrolled at a ton of theatre and performing arts schools.
4. Her and her boyfriend Anthony De La Torre have been dating for three years
I know that a lot of people want Lana and Noah Centineo to be together, but she is already in a happy relationship with an actor named Anthony De La Torre. How do they keep the spark alive, you ask? Well, ever since they started dating, they have written love letters to each other. Awww.
5. She is a pescatarian
What does that mean, exactly? Well a pescatarian is someone who doesn't eat meat, but eats fish. On Lana's Instagram, you'll see her chowing down on a TON of sushi, pizza, veggie burgers, etc. But what makes her most happy? Fish and chips!
6. Lana loves hot yoga, and that's how her and Noah Centineo bonded
In an interview with Decider, she revealed that the two actually connected the first time they met, but they wanted to hang out more. Where did they go? Well, their first choice was hot yoga! Lana says that hot yoga is pretty intimate, and it really helped them connect better. Awww.
7. She is a self-proclaimed book, stationery, cards, and journal addict
Maybe this is why she was so perfect for the role of Lara Jean Covey in To All The Boys I've Loved Before! I mean, Lara Jean in the movie was obviously obsessed with letters and writing them to know one, so it's safe to say Lana has a lot of experience at that.
