Amanda Bynes Showed Drake Love 7 Years After Her Controversial Tweets About Him
He's the man!
He’s the man! Amanda Bynes’ Instagram post about Drake is channelling nothing but love for the rapper since her controversial tweets 7 years ago. This time though, she’s keeping her social media ramblings G-rated.
Her post featured a screenshotted photo of Drake from his own Instagram account along with the caption, “Fav songs out now DRAKE 1. Money in the grave 2 Yes Indeed RODDY RICCH 1. Ballin 2. High Fashion.”
Her online history with the rapper has been anything but smooth sailing. Back in March of 2013, she tweeted that she wanted Drake to “murder my vagina.”
According to US Weekly, the inappropriate tweet was followed by the She’s The Man star calling him “ugly,” apologizing, and then going on to call him the “man of her dreams.”
Drake’s response to her antics came when he was featured in an interview with XXL magazine. He revealed, “I don’t even know who that is doing that or what that’s about. If that is her, I guess it’s a little weird and disturbing. It’s obviously a behavioural pattern that is way bigger than me.”
Her most recent post praising the artist for his music has since been deleted.
Her compliments to the artist came right before the 33-year-old posted a photo of herself and new fiance, Paul Michael, in celebration of being sober for 14 months.
Bynes retreated from the spotlight after her 2010 role in Easy A. Since then she’s been working on herself, with her family attorney reporting to E! News back in April of 2019 that, “Amanda is doing great, working on herself, and taking some well-deserved time off to focus on her wellbeing after graduating [from the] Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.”
According to IMDb, the actress has no upcoming projects to report on.
