Anne Hathaway is known for speaking her mind when it comes to controversial topics. This Award-winning actress never shies away from a hot topic even if she knows she's going to get a lot of criticism for it. So, today is no different. Today, Anne took to Instagram to call out potential future body shamers before they even got the chance. She posted a video on Instagram explaining that she was gaining weight for a new movie and she was not going to allow trolls on the internet to come for her. I am gaining weight for a movie role and it is going well. To all the people who are going to fat shame me in the upcoming months, it’s not me, it’s you. Peace xx PS- I wanted to set this to Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls” but copyright said no. Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :) Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead! ⚡️🦄Annie🦄⚡️ A post shared by Anne Hathaway (@annehathaway) on Jan 3, 2016 at 9:31pm PST You may remember this iconic photo that Anne posted of herself when she was pregnant with her first child, Jonathan. She explained that she knew she was being photographed so she wanted to post her own photo announcing her pregnancy and a photo that would be posted with her consent. I had to change my dress last minute and so it looked like my nipples were hard, I had full blown laryngitis and had to sing, and a bunch of corny haters were getting lots of attention from the media for being haters but you know what? It was still the best. To all the nominees, I hope you have a BLAST tonight doing all that #bestlife #oscars stuff. Peace xx A post shared by Anne Hathaway (@annehathaway) on Mar 4, 2018 at 3:04pm PST Last month, she posted this Instagram picture where she called out the haters again! She had a few choice words for people that criticized her 2013 Oscar win for her performance in Les Miserables. Even though it was years later, she spoke up and shut them down by saying she had to sing while she had laryngitis and that her haters were "corny". You've gotta love a girl who calls out the haters. Here's a lesson, don't come for Anne Hathaway, she will put you in your place - and then probably win an Oscar for it. Source: ET Online
