Ariana Grande's Fans Let Her Know Her New Tattoo Is Misspelled And Her Reaction Is Amazing
Ariana Grande tried to tattoo "7 Rings" on her palm in Japanese, but something got lost in translation.
We all make mistakes. But, most of us don't have the entire internet yelling at us when we do. On Tuesday, Ariana Grande showed off her latest tattoo on social media. With the lightning reflexes only the most devoted fans possess, Ariana's followers let her know she'd made a major mistake with her new ink.
In honor of her latest banger, Ariana intended to spell out "7 Rings" in Japanese on the palm of her hand. But, instead, her new tattoo actually reads shichirin. The internet, which was interneting at an all-time high, immediately informed her shichirin translates to "small charcoal grill." Where a mere mortal like myself would have crawled under the nearest blanket never to emerge again, Ariana Grande, aka the Queen of Cool, just laughed it off.
In a since-deleted Tweet, she wrote: "Indeed, I left out ‘つの指,' which should have gone in between. It hurt like f**k n still looks tight. I wouldn't have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won't last so if I miss it enough I'll suffer thru the whole thing next time." Ariana then added: "also….huge fan of tiny bbq grills." Professors need to add this moment to their public relations curriculum, and they need to add it now. Incredible.
Despite her mistake, we're sure this won't be the last time Ariana sits in a tattoo artist's chair. Girl loooooves her ink. She has more than 30 tattoos! If she does decide to get another in a language other than English, we're pretty sure she'll hit up Google Translate first.
