As awesome as it is to see your favourite artists live in concert, I think that most of us only dream about being able to party with them after the show. It's becoming more and more common for celebs to host afterparties at local clubs, and it gives fans a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with their idols. Backstreet Boys canceled their Winnipeg After Party and fans are devastated.

Usually, when big artists come to Canada on tour, they only hit one or two major cities, but when the Backstreet Boys announced their DNA tour, they made sure to include plenty of Canadian dates including one in Winnipeg on July 22nd.

Along with their tour dates, the boyband has also announced several after-party events where fans can party with members of the group after the show, and people have been seriously loving it.

After the Winnipeg show tonight, an after-party was scheduled at 441 Main but was mysteriously cancelled almost as quickly as it was announced, and fans are seriously upset about it:

No official statement about the Winnipeg after-party cancellation has come from the Backstreet Boy's official social media accounts, or from 441 Main, although tickets for the event have been removed from the band's official website.

It's definitely understandable why fans are so upset about the after-party being canceled so abruptly - who wouldn't want to party with the Backstreet Boys?! The concert is still set for tonight at Bell MTS Place, so hopefully audiences get the show they're hoping for and more.

The band has several more Canadian dates and after-parties lined up for this week, including Calgary on July 24, Edmonton on the 25, and Vancouver on the 27. Tickets for the concerts and after-parties can be purchased at this link.

We reached out to 441 Main for comment on the event's cancellation, but have yet to hear back.
