As the last few days of August come to a close, its time for all of us to get back into the swing of real life. Whether you're going back to school, heading back to the office, or simply prepping yourself for the brutal winter that lies ahead, there's no denying that there's a major shift coming, and the upcoming federal election will only add to that! Brittlestar's 2019 Canadian federal election tips will give you the laugh you need during the stress of the upcoming elections.

If you've somehow escaped the news, the next federal election is set to go down on Oct. 21, 2019. If you're not seriously invested in politics, there's a lot of information out there to digest that you may not fully understand, and sometimes, making the big decision on who to vote for can be a hard one.

If you're having a hard time understanding a lot of the political talk around you, we've got just the thing you need. A Canadian YouTuber named Brittlestar recently made a video outlining some important tips for voters to keep in mind before heading to the polls, and they're actually pretty funny.

"Politics. It can be confusing, boring, but also divisive. For some people, it seems really difficult to choose which politician to support, but making a decision on which politician to support doesn't have to be difficult."

Brittlestar then tells audiences that he's going to be using a few everyday examples that might help them towards their big voting decision. He starts by using the pans used to cook a delicious grilled cheese sandwich as an example — both pans have previously burnt the sandwich, but only one of them refuses to march in the Pride parade, making him a bad candidate in Brittlestar's books.

Other examples used in the video include socks (one pair of which is wishy-washy about gun laws), as well as donuts (one of which is racist). It's quite obvious which side of the political spectrum Brittlestar stands on, but the video is hilarious, nonetheless.

Hopefully, the video will not only make you laugh but also encourage you to get out and vote in the upcoming election!
