You may think that celeb spotting is lame or overrated, but there's truly nothing that beats the adrenaline rush you get when you spot the star of your favourite TV show or movie walking towards you down the street.
Because so many projects are on the go in Vancouver at any given time, seeing famous people is a normal occurrence for some, but for others, it never fails to bring out some new excitement.
If you're a Netflix enthusiast, you'll be happy to know that theand stars will be in the city well into the new year, but there's also some new actors and musicians that you'll have a chance to snap a selfie with or brag about seeing as well.

Hilary Swank has been in the city since August of this year, working on filming for her new series Away. The actress even posted an awesome selfie to her Instagram of her repping some Vancouver Canucks gear.
If there's anyone you don't want to miss a chance to see, it would have to be Ruby Rose. The Batwoman star can be spotted on set around the city, wearing her signature super suit.
If you're a fan of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, be sure to keep an eye out for Sabrina herself around Vancouver. The hit series will be filming its fourth season in the city until late February.
You may remember Katherine Heigl from her days on Grey's Anatomy, but these days, she's moved onto other projects. As of late, the 41-year old has been working on a new series called Firefly Lane, which wraps up filming on January 21.
Since the Riverdale cast spends so much time in Vancouver, they're pretty familiar with the city and have been known to hit up local restaurants and hot spots. KJ Apa and co. will be in YVR until April when filming on the show's latest season wraps up.
Seeing as he's currently working on the last ever season of Supernatural, you'll want to seein action while you can. Catch he and Jensen Ackles in Vancouver until April 2nd, when filming wraps.
If you're a fan of The Good Doctor, you'll be pleased to know that the show is filming its third season in Vancouver until March of 2020, giving you plenty of time to spot Freddie and the other stars in the new year.
Filming of a new project called The Stand started in Vancouver back in September and will be continuing until March 11. Details about the series are being kept pretty lowkey, but it does star the likes of James Marsden and Whoopi Goldberg.
