History was made in Canada last night and it didn't go unnoticed by Canada's biggest celebs. The whole country was celebrating well into the morning hours after the Raptors took the NBA championships. Although the game happened in Golden State, Canadian celebs partied here at home on the streets of Toronto or showed their support on their Instagram accounts. Here are 7 celebrities that are excited the Raptors won last night.

Justin Trudeau

Our prime minister showed his pride last night on Twitter almost immediately after Kawhi's winning free throw. He chanted, "And that's how we do it in the North."

John Tory

Trudeau wasn't the only political celebrity celebrating last night. Toronto's mayor, John Tory, watched the game in Jurassic Park and then stayed after the win to celebrate on the streets with the rest of Toronto. He even took the time to do press this morning and urge employers to give staff time off on Monday so that they can attend the Parade.

Drake

It's no surprise that Drake was involved in all the festivities. He spent the game on stage at Jurassic park cheering on the Raptors with Toronto. He spoke in an emotional interview after the game telling the reporter how proud he was while wearing the new Raptors champions gear. He also took to Instagram to celebrate his Canadian pride.

Giacomo Gianniotti

This is another celeb we're not surprised was celebrating on Canadian streets after the big win. Giacomo dedicated his Instagram to the Raptors as soon as they got into the finals and hasn't stopped posting about his home team since.

Tessa Virtue

Tessa Virtue rose to fame as a Canadian athlete so she understands better than any of us just what's at stake. She posted a photo of herself and her fellow Canadian figure skaters watching the final game on the ice last night.

Lilly Singh

Lilly Singh also made her way down to Jurassic Park last night and was onstage alongside Drake. She watched the game with the rest of the fans and caught the winning moments on camera.

Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds was a little more lowkey about his celebrations last night. He didn't post any videos of himself celebrating or watching the game, but he did upload a photo to his Instagram story. He posted an edited photo of Deadpool riding a raptor.
