Céline is currently on a world tour that's taking her to venues in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. In a heartbreaking turn of events, her mother Thérèse Tanguay Dion died on Thursday evening while surrounded by loved ones. Maman Dion received a tribute from her daughter in a touching Instagram post.

The 92-year-old left behind a family of 13 children including Céline and her three children.

The Courage singer is in Miami and scheduled to play at the AmericanAirlines Arena tonight. She took to social media to write a message for her mother.

She attached a black-and-white photo of the family where she's sitting front and centre.

The first part of the caption, like most of her photos, was in her native French language. Underneath, she posted a translated version that said, "Maman, we love you so much... We dedicate tonight’s show to you and I’ll sing to you with all my heart. Love, Céline..."

The mother and daughter were very close and Thérèse was also a singer that helped kickstart her daughter's musical career.

In the photo, Céline is surrounded by her parents and her 13 siblings.

Sitting directly beside her is the family patriarch, Adhémar-Charles Dion, who died on November 30, 2003.

One of the eldest brothers, Daniel Dion, passed away in January 2016, just two days after the death of Céline's husband, René Angélil.

Just three days ago, Céline paid tribute to her late husband on the four year anniversary of his death as well.

She and René got married in 1994 and share three sons together.

René-Charles Angelil was born in 2001, and a pair of twins named Nelson and Eddy Angélil were born in 2010.

Céline also has a set of twin siblings named Paul and Pauline. They were both born in 1962, six years before she was born.

Thérèse's other children include Denise, Clement, Claudette, Liette, Michel, Louise, Jacques, Ghislaine, Linda, and Manon.
