Social media can make things go viral so quickly with the click of a button and is often used for hilarious reasons. Within five days, the 74-year-old country singer started a trend that tons of users quickly hopped on. The Dolly Parton Challenge by Canadian celebrities showcases some interesting dating profile photos.

Parton first posted the trend on January 21. It features a collage of four photos for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder. The singer was supposedly the first to start it, resulting in the challenge being named after her. She accompanied her post with the caption, “Get you a woman who can do it all” and it currently has over 1.1 million likes.

While celebs joined in on the fun, quite a few Canadian companies also shared their own versions including Team Canada, The Royal Canadian Navy, and even Public Safety Canada.

They’re among the following 8 Canadian celebrities who joined the challenge.

Shay Mitchell

The new mom posted two sets of photos over the weekend. The first features a selfie with her daughter for Facebook, a classic Instagram ad, and a sexy selfie for Tinder.

She used a set of GIFs of her acting roles for the second post including a bra and underwear snap for Tinder.

Lilly Singh

The 31-year-old talk show host participated in the challenge twice. On her personal Instagram page, she shared GIFs looking goofy for Facebook, super cool for Instagram, and Priyanka Chopra on a beach as the Tinder spot.

On the A Little Late with Lilly Singh account, she shared snaps from the show including an adorable one with her dog for the Facebook section.

Mena Massoud

The Aladdin star from Toronto used a dishevelled but hunky looking photo for Tinder, a cute group selfie for Facebook, and a suited up shot for LinkedIn.

Céline Dion

The French-Canadian superstar posted a photo of her dressed in a yellow suit and looking posh for LinkedIn. That was followed by a couple of fun pics for Facebook and Instagram, and a bathing suit shot for Tinder.

She added the caption, “A look for every social occasion  - Team Celine”.

Tegan and Sara

The Calgary born twin sisters participated in the challenge with four photos of Tegan looking both professional and fun. She captioned it, “Because @dollyparton (Sara is gonna take away my social media privileges any day now).”

Drew Scott

The youngest of the "Property Brothers" jumped in on the trend looking suited up for LinkedIn, followed by an adorable old photo of him and his brothers for Facebook and an even cuter shot with his wife for Instagram.

For Tinder, he posted two versions since he couldn’t decide between a shirtless beach pic or a hilarious ‘80s costume.

Schitt’s Creek

Though it would’ve been amazing to get a collage for every character, CBC did the challenge on Alexis only and the Schitt’s Creek account reposted it. They changed the name of Tinder to “bumpkin” which features a still of the youngest Rose doing her classic “A Little Bit Alexis” song and dance.

Nia Vardalos

Over on Twitter, the My Big Fat Greek Wedding star from Winnipeg corrected herself after originally calling it the “#socialmediachallenge”. She sarcastically used a shot of her in the 2002 movie wearing big glasses with her hair pinned back. She also opted to use a sexy ocean photo of herself for Instagram.
