He died in March 2017 at 67-years-old.\nView this post on Instagram It's been a tough week saying goodbye to my father. Especially leaving Boston and then coming back home to LA to work and live in this "new" normal. I wish Jazzy got more time with her Bop.. I'll always treasure the many pictures and videos I do have of them together. And to get the chance to have made him a grandpa again and watch him play that role with abundant love, fun, and pride has been one of the greatest things to happen in my life and his. He LOVED his grandchildren. The one thing that really affected me at home was how all of my mothers friends communicated and banded together to make sure she had food coming to the house every day for weeks. And SO many other things. My fathers friends brought tshirts, pictures, videos, stories. My brother rose to the occasion and wrote & read the most incredible 15 minute eulogy I've ever heard. We never wanted it to end it was so amazing. The line at his wake was 3 hours long, and lasting practically all day. And I knew almost every single face. We have a very large, very beautiful chosen family. Not many kids are so close to all of their parents friends that they feel like family, but we are. And I thank every single one of you for everything you've done these last few weeks, and for always being so good to us ❤️ A post shared by Lauren Hashian (@laurenhashianofficial) on Apr 12, 2017 at 3:46pm PDT\nShe Has A University Degree\nHashian has a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and communications which she received from Emerson College in Boston.\nShe's A Singer & Songwriter\nIn an interview with Coveteur, Hashian told them that she came from a "musical family" but didn't think she would follow the same path as her father.
