Fans Think Ariana Grande Is Back With One Of Her Famous Exes And She Finally Responded
He was also featured in her hit song 'Thank U, Next'.
Ariana Grande has had a great year career wise. Her latest album Sweetner and her new single Thank U, Next have surpassed so many records that it's insane. However, like Ariana Grande mentioned in her Billboard Woman Of The Year award speech, it's been the best for her career but the worst of her life. From the sad passing of her ex Mac Miller to the breakup between her and Pete Davidson, we can 100% see where she's coming from. Now she is responding to rumours that she's back with a famous ex.
If you're not familiar with the song Thank U, Next, then you probably wouldn't know that she talks about some of her exes in the song. She sings, "Thought I'd end up with Sean, but it wasn't a match. Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh. Even almost got married, and for Pete I'm so thankful. Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm, 'cause he was an angel", and she makes the song more positive then negative, shedding a light on how they helped her.
Well, she's definitely still friends with a few of those exes, but fans think she's more than friends with the guy she wrote songs about and laughs at now, Ricky. Ricky Alvarez was Ariana's previous back-up dancer and they actually dated for a year from July 2015 to July 2016. While they remained friends, people think they've rekindled the flame.
Ricky posted a photo yesterday with newly bleached hair and a yellow sweater, and Ariana commented "These colors are sick". Of course, fans jumped on it and thought this meant they were back together. A fan commented, "WHATS ABOUT YOU AND ARIANA???? WE ALL WANT TO KNOW" and like she always does, Ariana commented back.
Her respond was, "We're friends everyone take a big 'ol breather" with her signature black heart emoji. There is no way they couldn't be friends, either. When the song Thank U, Next first came out, Ricky posted an Instagram story of him listening to the song and jamming out, and then zooming into his face when he heard his name.
We're just happy Ariana is still taking time for herself, and is on good terms with her exes. But let's be real here, we can't wait for her next album or her next single. We all know it'll be a hit like always.
