Reunited and it feels so good! Grey's Anatomy co-stars and on-screen lovers Giacomo Gianniotti and Ellen Pompeo were spotted out on a hike together over the weekend. The two actors, along with the rest of their cast and crew, have been on a filming hiatus since production was temporarily shut down in March.\nAccording to Hollywood Life, the two were seen in the Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighbourhood on June 5.\nBoth were sporting protective face masks, with Pompeo matching hers to the rest of her outfit featuring a black t-shirt and black leggings.\nGianniotti paired his white mask with a grey t-shirt and shorts and repped his Toronto hometown by wearing a red and black Raptors baseball cap.\nPompeo has played Meredith Grey on the medical drama series since its inception in 2005, and Gianniotti joined the cast in 2015 as Andrew DeLuca.\nIn the series, widowed Grey and the young and aspiring surgeon DeLuca end up striking up a steamy romance.\nOff-screen, Pompeo is married to longtime husband Chris Ivery and Gianniotti recently married Nichole Gustafson in 2019.\nJust Jared claims that the two are longtime friends in real life.\nYou can see photos of the pals out for a hike here.\nPompeo recently showed support to her BFF online when he posted an IGTV video in support of Black Lives Matter.\n"BEAUTIFUL WORDS LOVE YOU @giacomo_gianniotti," she commented on his post.\nView this post on Instagram A post shared by Giacomo Gianniotti (@giacomo_gianniotti) on Jun 4, 2020 at 9:46am PDT\nPompeo reposted the video on her account and added the caption, "Love this guy".\nHowever, Gianniotti wasn't the only co-star Pompeo reunited with recently.\nHollywood Life writes that on June 3, Pompeo was spotted marching in a protest with T.R. Knight, the lovable face behind George O'Malley who got killed off in season five.\nIt's unclear when filming on Grey's Anatomy will resume again. Season 16 wrapped up four episodes short in early April, per The Hollywood Reporter.
