Giacomo Gianniotti Brings His Toronto Pride To LA By Cheering On The Blue Jays
He really is a loyal fan.
One thing you absolutely cannot deny about sports fans is that they remain pretty much undyingly loyal to their favourite teams. Whether they're the absolute best in the league, or continuously in the bottom, fans will never stop repping those jerseys and watching games whenever possible. Giacomo Gianniotti's Toronto Blue Jays obsession is only getting bigger.
If you've ever seen the primetime TV series Grey's Anatomy, you're probably familiar with a certain Giacomo Gianniotti. The actor plays Dr. Andrew DeLuca on the show, and is known not only for his incredible acting talent, but also his stunning good looks, of course!
One thing you may not know about Gianniotti though is that he's actually Canadian! The actor was born in Italy, but emigrated to Canada with his family at a young age and spent his youth in Toronto. He spends his fair share of time in the 6ix but also heads back overseas to Rome throughout the year for work as well.
Like most people who live in Toronto, Gianniotti is a MAJOR Toronto Blue Jays fan. The actor attended a game against the L.A. Dodgers at Dodger Stadium last night, and although the team lost 3-16, he still had an awesome time cheering on the Jays!
The actor started out his night by posting a video of him wearing a Blue Jay's hat with a caption that reads, "Heading somewhere special tonight. Can you guess where?". He also posted a hilarious meme to his story from popular Toronto IG account @6ixbuzztv that would definitely have any Torontonian laughing.
Although his team didn't win, Gianniotti still cheered them on loud and proud from the stands, as any loyal fan would do. Besides, anyone who's attended an MLB game before will tell you that it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it just matters how many beers and hot dogs you consume.
If you want more Gianiotti in your life, be sure to stay logged into your Netflix account this September!will be coming to the streaming service next month, and it will definitely include plenty of drama from Dr. DeLuca.
