Hailey Baldwin Admits Marriage Was Lonely For Her At The Beginning, And The Reason Isn't What You Think
Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber did an in-depth interview with Vogue.
Being in the spotlight is hard, there is no doubt about that. So imagine marrying one of the most sought after men in Hollywood. That's Hailey Baldwin's life now. The couple has had a whirlwind of a relationship and now marriage, and they dive into that in an in-depth interview with Vogue. In the interview, it's obvious that Justin Bieber is nervous, but Hailey seems to be wearing her heart on her sleeve. Hailey Baldwin admits that marriage was lonely for her at the beginning, but the reason isn't what you'd think.
In the interview with Vogue, the couple talks about everything from their past relationship with each other (which was not good) to Justin Bieber's addiction to Xanax. They mention that they did date three years ago, but things ended over negative things happening. I think we all know what that is, even though Justin doesn't say Selena Gomez's name. Hailey even said, "There was a period where if I walked into a room, he would walk out". Ouch.
The two go on about the things they had to work through to get to the point they're at now, but Hailey says that the beginning of their marriage was not easy for her. We can only imagine with all of the trolls online what she felt when their relationship became public knowledge, and she's not holding back on that.
In the interview with Vogue, Hailey said that in the first few weeks of marriage, she felt homesick. She wanted her parents but hadn't lived with them for years. She went on to say the reason she felt so lonely was because she 'suddenly had a million rivals'. Hailey also admitted that everyone was rooting for them to fail, which is hard in itself.
Lately, Hailey has been super open on social media. She wrote a long, long post about insecurities, anxiety, and even being compared to other people. So when it came to her marriage with Justin, she said she needed to 'pray to feel at peace with it'. But the interview does get better. Justin admits that when he saw her in June of 2018, he suddenly remembered how much he loved her. He went on to say, "I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life. I was like, Holy cow, this is what I’ve been looking for".
Okay, crying. Whether you're rooting for them or not, let's give them a break. It's hard to be open and vulnerable and to do it in a Vogue interview is not easy. However, we do wish the interviewer would've asked when new music is coming. Not sorry.
