Justin Bieber’s “Carpool Karaoke” Shows James Corden Doesn’t Actually Drive & We’re Shook
At least it means they keep safe!
The Canadian singer is getting back into making music after sharing earlier this month that he’s been battling Lyme disease. His musical comeback brings an album, tour, docu-series, and apparently a late-night talk show appearance. Justin Bieber’s Carpool Karaoke exposes that James Corden doesn’t actually drive and fans are shocked.
A Twitter user named Zoli shared the video yesterday that shows what appears to be Bieber and Corden filming the segment. They captioned it, “Saw James corden and Justin Bieber filming carpool karaoke and this is why I have trust issues — he isn't even driving!”
The video shows Corden’s black Range Rover propped on a set of wheels and attached to a trailer. The wheels on the actual car are apparently not moving and when the trailer moves, the SUV moves with it.
Another user replied with a photo they caught of what also appears to be Bieber with Corden in the same car.
The user added in a reply that “The cars were surrounded by police motorcycles escorting in front and behind”.
Perhaps one of the best responses to this finding came from this person who wrote, “It should be CARPULL KARAOKE." The tweet got over 29,000 likes.
Another user hopped on the pun train and wrote, “It's for his new segment, car tow karaoke”.
Many seemed outraged at what the video exposes including this person whose “WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE.”
This user wrote, “Safety first! That way they can do this:” and attached an older clip of Bieber on Carpool Karaoke doing a dance routine with the talk show host.
Still, some weren’t that surprised including this user who replied, “he never holds the wheel when they’re driving. you never noticed that?”
However, according to another user who posted a photo from 2017, Corden was driving during a segment with Katy Perry.
This person responded that they caught One Direction filming the segment and Corden was also apparently driving.
Corden shared an Instagram photo yesterday with the "Yummy" singer. He captioned it, “Big day @justinbieber.”
Bieber’s last Carpool Karaoke appearance was in February 2016, when the two did a “Post-Grammys Drive” suited up in matching white tuxedos.
It hasn’t been confirmed if the two were actually filming Carpool Karaoke or the segment's expected release date.
