Bachelor Nation is feeling the social distance struggle too! During an Instagram Live group date with Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick’s relationship struggles came up in conversation, and Bristowe revealed that her boyfriend has one habit that’s been driving her crazy.\n“Here’s my problem,” the former Bachelorette explained. “I’ve got a serious case of misophonia, so when people chew around me, like, I can’t handle the sound and that just has been, like, what’s the word I’m looking for?”\n“Triggering,” Bachelor host, Harrison suggested.\nBristowe then went on to explain that when she heard her boyfriend eating cereal that morning, she was “not okay”.\n“I’m playing doctor the last four months. I chew cereal with my mouth closed the wrong way and that’s not OK,” Tartick joked.\nAs the live stream continued, Harrison admitted that he too struggles with misophonia, which according to Us Weekly, is a “condition in which common sounds provoke a strong emotional response”, although he said that his symptoms are nowhere near as bad as Bristowe’s.\nHarrison’s girlfriend, Lauren Zima was shocked that he shared this information with so many viewers because she had no idea he was so triggered by things like chewing until they’d been holed up together during self-isolation.\nView this post on Instagram It was a wild week we just lived through and we need to get used to it for the immediate future. People that don’t have it don’t understand how severe it is,” Bristowe continued.\nThe topic of conversation then changed to what The Bachelor producers would be airing to fill up the time now that Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette has been postponed due to COVID-19.\nMajor Announcement!!!!We hear you #BachelorNation.
