Lori Loughlin Told People Her Bribery Money Was Actually A Donation To Underserved Kids
Lori Loughlin explained her bribery money went to a foundation.
Have mercy! More and more conversations between Lori Loughlin, her husband Mossimo Giannulli and the ring leader of this college admissions scam Rick Singer keep coming out, and they're not good. Lori Loughlin told people her bribery money was actually a donation to underserved kids, all due to Singer's plot.
Now Aunt Becky is lying about where her money went? *Sigh*. If you're not familiar with this case, Rick Singer is the mastermind behind the largest college admissions scam in US history. Actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman were among 50 people who paid Singer to get their kids into college at different ivy league schools. Lori and husband Mossimo allegedly paid $500,000 to get their daughters Bella and Olivia into USC.
According to People, Singer was under investigation with the IRS and he needed to make sure their stories lined up. Instead of confessing that he was doing this illegally, he asked Lori to stay on board and lie about where her money was going. To Lori and Mossimo, he said, "They asked me about your 2 payments of $200,000. And, of course, I’m not gonna say anything about your payments going to Donna Heinel at USC to get the girls into USC, through crew." To which Mossimo responded, "Sure."
But just wait! It gets better. The conversation continues as Singer says, "So I just want to make sure our stories are the same and that your $400K was paid to our foundation to help underserved kids." In a phone call, Lori repeated what he said to her and said, "So we just have to say we made a donation to your foundation and that’s it, end of story." End of story? Definitely not!
Lori and husband Mossimo made their daughters pose on rowing machines, but neither of them rowed. And since the news came out of this college admissions scam, their lives have been torn apart. Their family hasn't gone out in public and apparently are 'devasted' and know their lives will never be the same. Actions do have consequences, we all know that. It was probably a storyline on Full House.
