While he may be in jail, these Luka Magnotta photos show how much he has changed while being locked up.\nThis article contains graphic content that might not be suitable for some readers.\nIf you're not familiar with the story, Luka Magnotta, whose real name is Eric Clinton Kirk Newman, was convicted of first-degree murder of Jun Lin back in 2014.\nWhile the murder happened two years before that, Magnotta had fled the country and there was a worldwide manhunt for him according to the National Post.\nHe was not only convicted of the murder of Lin, but according to Global News, he was also charged with, "committing an indignity to a human body, publishing obscene material, criminally harassing Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other members of Parliament, and mailing obscene and indecent material."\nNetflix came out with a three-part docu-series on Magnotta titled, Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer, which was released on December 18, 2019. Since then, people have been wondering what his life is like in jail, and more specifically, what the 37-year-old looks like now.\nThe Scarborough native is almost unrecognizable since he was put in jail in 2014. During her time on the stand, she revealed he "hated his life, wondered why he had been born and claimed he often heard directly from Marilyn Monroe".\nLexa Vega | YouTube\nIn the photo above, the prisoner is standing next to an unfamiliar face at Port-Cartier Prison.\nBack in 2015 Magnotta signed up for Canadian Inmates Connect Inc., which is a dating site according to CBC.
