David Beckham Wore A ‘Friends’ Shirt & Matthew Perry’s Reaction Is Perfect
The one where Beckham shows off his love for 'Friends'!
Could this be a better celeb interaction? David Beckham recently posted a snap of him wearing a Friends t-shirt and Matthew Perry's response to it was so perfect. The actor behind Chandler Bing reposted the photo on his profile and the soccer star left a cheeky comment showing off his love for the sitcom.
Beckham's photo features him taking a selfie alongside his wife of 21 years, Victoria Beckham. He added the caption, "Afternoon walk ♥️ @victoriabeckham."
Victoria is suited in all black with a matching black baseball cap while her hubby is fitted in an orange beanie, necklace, and a black t-shirt featuring an iconic scene from Friends.
The scene comes from the episode The One Where No One's Ready where Joey goes into his apartment and puts on all of Chandler's clothes to get back at him for their argument over the lounge chair.
In the shot featured on Beckham's shirt, Joey tells Chandler he's not wearing any underwear and starts doing big lunges.
Within a few hours, Perry reposted Beckham's selfie onto his profile and added the caption, "This guy has really good taste. Whoever that is."
The 50-year-old followed with another comment saying, "Guys, i know who it is! I was just joking."
Perry's post also got the attention of actress Zoë Kravitz who commented, "lol".
Beckham's 15-year-old son Cruz replied to the Friends star's post writing, "Guess who bought him the shirt 😂".
On his dad's photo, he replied, "Nice t shirt 😂❤️."
Beckham’s comment on Perry’s post reads, "Yes @cruzbeckham got me the shirt but could i be wearing anymore clothes 😂 @mattyperry4".
The 45-year-old smoothly showed off his love for the sitcom by perfectly quoting Joey when he walks into Monica's apartment and shows Chandler all of the clothes he has on.
It seems like Chandler's iconic sense of humour and mannerisms are well-loved.
that her famous "My eyes!" scene used inspiration from Perry's character, and she even had to ask him permission before borrowing Chandler's cadence.
