In light of the #MeToo movement, Time's Up, and general girl power, many women in Hollywood today are eager to change the dialogue surrounding gender. Including Modern Family's Sarah Hyland.\nThe 27-year-old isn't afraid to share the good, bad, and everything in between with her 5.5 million followers, and recently posted a series of nude photos taken in a bathtub.\nOf course, as is always the case with Internet trolls, some fans started commenting on the amount of skin Hyland was showing. That's when the actress stepped up to share an empowering message.\nA post shared by Sarah Hyland (@sarahhyland) on Jan 14, 2018 at 2:10am PST\nAfter seeing the backlash, Hyland changed the caption on the photos to say: “Women are funny. Women are brave. Women are caring and strong. We are raw and tough. Our bodies defy reason and our minds are powerful. I’m confident. I’m insecure. I’m a woman. I’m human. Think whatever you’d like about these photographs. I like to think of them as moments of art and expression suspended in time.”\nHer message? That she (and all of us) are human.\nAs a a vocal supporter of the Time’s Up movement and one of the many guests at the Golden Globe Awards invited to wear black on the red carpet in solidarity, we're glad she's still practicing what she preaches.\nYou go, Sarah!
