Nicki Minaj couldn't stop herself from sending a scathing private message to a Twitter user who criticized her music and career decisions, Canoe reports.\nWanna, a Toronto-based writer, released a tweet a few days ago where she advised the 'Chun-Li' rapper to start thinking about producing "mature content" rather than the "silly sh—" she's been putting out recently:\nAlthough Nicki wasn't tagged in the tweet, she somehow came across it and became personally offended; so much so that she couldn't help but send Wanna a scathing private message in response.\n"When ya ugly a— was 24 you were pushing 30? I'm 34. I'm touching 40? Lol. And what does that have to do with my music? Eat a d— you hating a— hoe (sic)," Nicki's private message read.\nShe even went as far as to say Wanna had "the nerve to have a Trini flag on [her] page."\nWanna started receiving hate messages and death threats from Nicki's fan base and had to disable her account temporarily. But she later reactivated it, saying that she "will not be silenced" and that Nicki's response was "beyond embarrassing."\nShe then posted screenshots of Nicki's private message for everyone to see. She also followed up with a private message to Nicki saying that she "100% stood by everything [she] said" and that what she said "wasn't a malicious jab, it was a critique."\nSeveral people have tweeted their support for Wanna, and even started a trending hashtag called #IStandWithWanna to fight back at NIcki's relentless fans.
