Oprah Was In Montreal Last Night & Canadians Can’t Stop Raving About Her Show
People called the show "life-changing".
If you ever needed some sort of guidance or wisdom, you may have turned to one of the many prominent celebrity figures out there who have plenty to offer. People like Ellen DeGeneres, Michelle Obama, and Tyra Banks always know just what to say when offering guidance to their audiences. Another wise woman who knows what she's talking about? None other than Oprah Winfrey. Oprah's 'Path Made Clear' tour stopped in Montreal last night and fans loved the show.
If you're a fan of the mogul, you may be aware the Oprah is currently on a book tour for 'Path Made Clear'. She hit Montreal on June 16th, but still has three more stops to make across Canada before she's done spreading her wisdom and answering questions.
After the show last night, Oprah posted the above videos to Instagram with a caption that read, "Everyone says Canadians are kind and that was proven especially true in Montréal tonight. Thank you for giving me your Sunday night, I loved being with you. Enjoy the Toronto @raptors parade tomorrow! #PathMadeClear 🇨🇦".
Clearly, she has some love for her Canadian fans - she even rocked a Raptors jersey during the show! Fans of Oprah haven't been able to stop raving about her since last night:
Oprah's words of wisdom and inspiration have had such a major impact on her fans, both new and old. Nearly 7,000 people were in attendance to hear her speak at Montreal's Bell Centre last night.
During her show she said, "I am here to remind you that your life is yours to design — and as long as you have breath, you can always refine, define and make things better. You are the master of your fate, the captain of your soul.”
Oprah talked about topics like her relationship with her mother, her traumatic history of sexual abuse, and some of her favourite messages from her new book.
Oprah will now be heading over to the western side of Canada. The next stop on her book tour is Calgary on June 19th, Edmonton on June 20th, and she'll wrap things up in Vancouver on June 24th.
