Ryan Reynolds, a proud Vancouver boy... or is he? The actor was just featured on Canadian podcast and revealed that there are two cities here that he considers home. For Ryan Reynolds, Ottawa apparently still has a big piece of his heart. The touching revelation came when the Deadpool star sat down with a podcast called The Interview Dudes. The show is made up of three 11-year-old boys who are all based in the Canadian capital. It turns out that city is something they have in common with Ryan. "Ottawa is also kinda my city too. I spent a lot of time there as a kid," he said. "So I love Ottawa as well. I feel like Ottawa and Vancouver are my two homes." This isn't the first time the actor has mentioned the Ontario city. Back in April, Ryan made a donation to the Ottawa Foodbank and revealed that he actually used to be a resident of the region. "I used to live in Ottawa (in Vanier). It holds a special place in my heart. So happy to donate to your amazing food bank," he said. The star also had some big praise for the city's mayor on the podcast. "Mayor Jim Watson... he's a fantastic guy," he said, before sharing that it was actually Watson who tipped Ryan off about going on the show. The Ottawa politician also sat down with The Interview Dudes last summer. "He's a really interesting guy, he's one of the most interesting mayors I've ever heard of," the Canadian actor went on to say. "I've read a lot about him, I think he's doing a good job." Of course, Ryan had to share the love with Vancouver as well. When asked if he's truly a Canucks fan, the star said "the answer's yes, I'm very much a Vancouver Cancucks fan. I love the Canucks." The actor has gained a lot of attention for his efforts during this pandemic, donating to various causes and using his platform to promote the Conquer COVID-19 organization. He said that as a Canadian, he has a lot of empathy and when the pandemic hit he immediately started thinking about how he could be of service to Canadians. The podcast closed off with one last shout-out from the actor: "I love the Interview Dudes!"
