An announcement came from a part of the royal family yesterday that has everyone wondering what exactly it means for the Crown. The Queen herself has even released a statement stating the decision from the Duke and Duchess has caused "complicated issues that will take time to work through." Revealing a departure from royal titles couldn't have been easy on the couple, but it's a good thing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's celeb supporters haven't been afraid to stand behind their decision.

In an Instagram post, the royal pair confirmed they'd be leaving their senior titles within the royal family and will split their time between the UK and North America. "We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."

Markle, since becoming Harry's partner, has endured negative coverage from the British tabloids and citizens that landed the family in a very emotional legal battle with the press.

With the announcement comes the same kind of backlash she's been experiencing over the past year. Even her father, Thomas Markle, who has been a critic in the past, told US Weekly he's "disappointed" in their decision.

Luckily, they have more than just Canada standing behind them. These next few celebs have shown nothing but support for the Duke and Duchess.

Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen, who works as a television host, took the opportunity to offer Markle a new job now that she could potentially be able to act again.

In the comments of the announcement post he wrote, "Open invite for the Duchess to join #RHOBH" (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills).

Ava DuVernay

Director and filmmaker Ava DuVernay responded to an entertainment figure on twitter who was asking the producers of The Crown, a Netflix show following the history of the Monarchy, to "skip ahead a few decades" and feature Markle and Harry's story.

She offered herself up as a volunteer to direct what would be a new season.

Mindy Kaling

Actress Mindy Kaling gave her full support in emojis after the announcement last night.

In the comments section of their Instagram post, she simply showed her support posting multiple sparkle emoji's.

Jameela Jamil

Jameela Jamil, who has defended the couple in the past, complimented the Duke and Duchess saying their decision "is what power looks like."

Bette Midler

Bette Midler showed her support by expressing how sad she was that this was, what she believed, the only option left for Markle after they, "hounded and bullied her."

She even compared their situation to that of the late Princess Diana.

Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel said, "I love the Harry & Meghan news." She was even confused as to why anyone wouldn't be happy because to her "everybody wins."
