Ryan Reynolds Reacts To Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Potentially Moving To Canada
We love his clever wittiness!
Canadians have been eagerly awaiting the royal family's announcement of where in North America the couple and their son will be splitting their time. Of course, we'd love to have them here in Canada (and the Duchess is no stranger to cold temperatures since she lived in Toronto). And it seems like the celebs are getting excited too because Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's move to Canada got a reaction from Ryan Reynolds on Twitter.
Late last week, we got the news that the two headed home to England after a long holiday vacation in Vancouver. However, we quickly learned that they reportedlyeight-month-old son along.
Instead, he reportedly stayed with Markle'suntil mom and son were reunited when the former actress came .
All we know so far is that they are planning to split time "between the United Kingdom and North America" which, of course, could mean anywhere in the United States or hopefully, on Canadian land.
The couple was also offered "free coffee for life"if they make a home here, and there are a few hotspots where they could start a new life.
The New York Times recently published an article titled "Could 'Megxit' Be a Royal Fairy Tale for Canada?" They posted it on Twitter and added the caption, "Many Canadians are giddy at the prospect that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be moving to Canada, injecting some razzle dazzle to the sprawling, bone-chillingly cold country."
Calling the Great White North "bone-chillingly cold" got a rise out of quite a few upset individuals.
But leave it to the Deadpool actor to use his wit and charm to respond to the news outlet. He wrote, "Nobody injects razzle dazzle anymore. Particularly in Canada, where they drink it."
The responses are even more clever than Reynolds' tweet.
One person wrote, "Actually, it's legal to smoke [it] here now" and another replied, "You can get it in an edible now, actually!"
Someone else used the opportunity to plug Reynolds' company, American Aviation Gin.
Tons of responses also included people thanking the Vancouver-born actor for speaking up and defending our country.
Last week,Andy Cohen, Mindy Kaling, Jameela Jamil, Bette Midler, and Bethenny Frankel also shared their support for the royal couple finding a new home on Canadian land.
