Seriously, you don't wanna mess with Betty Cooper. A Riverdale fan visiting downtown Vancouver spotted Riverdale's Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse out at a bar. Being a big Riverdale fan, the girl approached, threw her arm around Cole and said started talking to him - which prompted the star to do whatever we would do in that situation and ask who tf are you?! via @lilireinhart The fan was very upset at this interaction, as if approaching a celeb when they're out having personal time was supposed to end in best friend status? The fan then flooded Twitter with tweets putting Cole and the cast on blast for their 'rude' behaviour, noting her race and ethnicity as factors for the rudeness. The fan tagged Riverdale and Cole Sprouse in her since deleted tweets, only to be responded by Lili. You do not have the right to approach STRANGERS and throw your arms around us like you know us. What you did was not cool and inappropriate — Lili Reinhart (@lilireinhart) September 4, 2017 Cole's response to you was "do I know you?" After you rudely invaded our space and got in our faces. — Lili Reinhart (@lilireinhart) September 4, 2017 It's easy to make us look like the bad guys because you think there's no chance in hell we would ever call you out on it. Here you go 🤗 — Lili Reinhart (@lilireinhart) September 4, 2017 The user has since private her account at no doubt a tidal wave of tweets coming in from Riverdale fans. We side with Lili on this one - you can't do to celebs what you wouldn't do to a normal person. If we were Cole Sprouse, we would've shoved that girl off real quick. But that just goes to show you, don't mess with Betty Cooper.
