If you don't love Ryan Reynolds - are you even Canadian? I mean with his couple goals relationship with wife Blake Lively , the amazing way he parents his daughters, and his undeniable acting and comedic talents, there's a lot of reasons to swoon for the Deadpool star.

However is was this Family Day weekend in particular that the Vancouver native really proved that he's got a heart of gold. While many of us were a home binge watching Netflix or out catching up with friends and family Ryan took a moment to hight some real unsung heros.

On Monday morning Ryan took to his Instagram to post some pretty inspirational photos of what happened behind the scenes of the Deadpool 2 set. With a 7 photo collage he called out the children from Make-A-Wish Foundation and its Canadian counterpart, Children’s Wish Foundation who made it their wish to hang out with Ryan.

He wrote,One of the best parts of playing the Big Red Jackass is welcoming @makeawishamerica and @childrenswishfoundation onto set. Deadpool kicked Cancer in the taint, but these kids do it for real every day. These foundations make dreams come true for a lot of of super-brave kids. They also make dreams come true for parents, who just wanna see their kid smile. HUGE thanks to our Prop Master, Dan Sissons, for making sure every kid left with his/her own sword. (Bamboo versions. Not stabby-stabby versions.) 🇨🇦⚔️

It's been just over 24-hours and the photo already has 1.3 million likes as well as thousands of comments - but we're thinking he probably doesn't care about that. We mean, he is Mr. Perfect after all.
