She’s just like us! Sandra Oh opened up about how she’s spending her time during the pandemic and it included reconnecting with some old friends from Montreal. The Killing Eve actress has been digging up old roots to pass the time. In a video conference interview with INQUIRER.net, the actress explained that like many people, catching up and checking in with others has helped a great deal when it comes to “dealing with COVID-19.” Specifically, she’s been talking to friends from her past. She explained to the interviewer how she has Zoom happy hour meetings with her old theatre class and she’s the organizer, “I went to the National Theatre School. I graduated in 1993. Recently, a bunch of us were texting and now, every Friday, we have a cocktail.” Some members hadn’t spoken to one another in almost 27 years! Aside from Oh’s “need to connect”, she’s also been taming her anxiety with “meditation practice.” She spends long periods of time each day sitting to achieve peacefulness. The former Grey’s Anatomy star recently teamed up with other on-screen doctors to send their well-wishes to frontline workers. In a video posted by House actress Olivia Wilde she wished them all “health and safety” and even gave a special shout out to her brother in law Scott who happens to be an ER doctor in Vancouver, “I love you man.” View this post on Instagram On behalf of fake doctors everywhere, we want to thank the actual healthcare superheroes on the front lines of this crisis.
