There's A Secret Message Hidden In Harry And Meghan’s Engagement Photos
The portraits were taken this week at Frogmore House, Windsor.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official engagement photos have been released, but there's a secret message hidden in them you may have missed.
The photographs, taken by Alexi Lubomirski, give a subtle nod to Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.
Lubomirski, whose previous subjects have included the actors Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore and Angelina Jolie, is the protégé of Mario Testino, the man who took the last official photos of Diana before her death in 1997.
Taken this week at Frogmore House, Windsor, the portraits are a touching tribute to the Prince's mother and her link to the next generation of royals.
Lubomirski thanked the newly engaged couple for the opportunity on Instagram, saying: “It was an incredible honour to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be witness to this young couple’s love for one another. I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”
The photos show Markle, 36, displaying her engagement ring - which was designed by Harry - in all three photos.
