This "13 Reasons Why" Star Is Being Sued For An Alleged Attempted Murder Scheme
And he's apparently working with Courtney Love.
Celebrity drama can be hard to stay on top of but sometimes news just hits you like a ton of bricks. Today while I was scrolling through Twitter that's exactly what happened.
Ross Butler from Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and the first season of Riverdale is currently being sued for an attempted murder scheme. The person he was allegedly trying to murder was Frances Bean Cobain's ex-husband, Isaiah Silva, due to him keeping her late father, Kurt Cobain, MTV Unplugged guitar after their divorce. Silva is also suing Courtney Love, Cobain's mother, as well as Love's manager Sam Lufti, Michael Schenk, Yan Yukhtman, and a private investigator John Nazarian.
Silva, who can be seen with Cobain above, is claiming that Butler, along with Lufti and Yukhtman, trespassed on to his property and broke into his home in June 2016. Silva said that he was injured at the time but the three men gained entry into his home by impersonating police officers.
Silva said that Lufti grabbed his genitals upon entering the home and that the manager threatened him. Lufti apparently said, "Listen fa***t, calm the fuck down or we'll drag you upstairs and take turns fucking you."
Cobain's ex-husband is also claiming that they tried to kidnap him and that he was forced into a car. A friend was home with Silva at the time and reportedly called the police but Lufti created a false story to tell police.
Butler spoke to Vulture about being friends with Love back in May of last year. His friend is her manager, so though we're hoping this story isn't true, Lufti and Butler do know one another.
It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out but it looks like Butler's in more trouble than Zach in 13 Reasons Why.
