This "Sex In The City" Star Just Shared That Her First Born Child Is Transgender
She revealed the news to celebrate Trans Day Of Action during pride month.

Cynthia Nixon is known for many things. She is currently running for the governor of New York state, she's a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and she is known for playing Miranda Hobbes on the HBO hit Sex in the City.

Nixon took to Instagram to share a photo of her and son Samuel Joseph Mozes, who goes by Seph. Nixon's son was born Samantha Mozes and is the oldest of two children between Nixon and her ex-partner, Danny Mozes. They have another 15-year old son, Charles.
The post shares a photo from Seph's graduation day, celebrating obtaining his degree from the University of Chicago. Nixon used the photo to celebrate Trans Day of Action during Pride month, sharing how proud she is of her son.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Nixon identifies as a lesbian and is now married to activist Christine Marinoni. The couple shares a seven-year-old son, Max.
Currently, Nixon is running for governor of New York state and has been quite vocal about the political climate in America. Given that she represents a number of marginalized groups it's no surprise that she is giving her platform to speak to such an important day in during pride.
To disclose how an individual identifies is a personal choice but it's so nice to see someone like Nixon, who has such a vast reach, celebrate a worthy cause.
