It's always an exciting time when you happen to spot one of your favourite actors in your city, although this happens more often for some Canadians than others. Cities like Vancouver and Toronto are no stranger to celebrity sightings as there's almost always several movies and TV shows filming there, bringing along their star-studded casts. More recently, Liam Hemsworth's Toronto trip has the actor seemingly falling in love with the city.

Many people are familiar with Hemsworth as the incredibly good looking, on-again-off-again former husband of Miley Cyrus, but the Australian hunk has much more going for him than just that. Hemsworth is a pretty talented actor and is known for his work in films like The Hunger GamesThe Last Song, and Killerman, just to name a few.

Hemsworth's latest project is a Quibi TV series called Dodge & Miles, which has been filming in Hamilton as well as Toronto's Little Portugal neighbourhood. The series stars Hemsworth as Dodge, a man with a pregnant wife, who also happens to be suffering from a terminal illness. In hopes of saving his life, Dodge agrees to play a deadly game, but unbeknownst to him, he's the prey, not the hunter, which raises the stakes even higher in his intense battle to stay alive.

Filming the series definitely takes up a ton of Hemsworth's schedule here in the city, but that doesn't mean he isn't still taking the time to explore Toronto and appreciate it's never-ending beauty.

Earlier this month, he was spotted jogging around the city and even took the time to document his workout for his 14 million Instagram followers. Hemsworth was also spotted out and about wearing a wedding ring, which caused a lot of confusion for fans since he had just announced his split from Cyrus at the time.

On October 19, Hemsworth took to the 'gram yet again, this time to show off a stunning cityscape of Toronto, taken over the 6ix as the sun was setting. He captioned the photo with a simple "🔥", and although he didn't include a location tag, the stunning CN tower gives it away very easily.

Dodge & Miles has no official release date yet, although the platform it's premiering on, Quibi, is set to launch in April of 2020. Be sure to keep your eyes out for Hemsworth if you're in the Toronto area over the coming weeks — he's been known to take the occasional selfie with fans.
