The members of One Direction have been killing it with their solo careers right now which is a great thing for pop music. Harry Styles released his self-titled album, Niall Horan dropped a couple successful singles, Louis Tomlinson was a judge on The X-Factor, and Liam Payne somehow convinced Quavo to fill a feature spot on Strip That Down.\nvia @onedirection\nAnd of course, there's Zayn Malik. The bomb that went off and destroyed this generation's most powerful boyband (sorry not sorry, JoBros). Zayn left the band on March 25th 2015, shaking the media industry and slamming his boyband past. The star isn't shy about saying he didn't feel comfortable or even like the type of music the band was making saying he'd "never" listen to it. It only took another year for the band to completely crumble and send all members out in ~*different*~ directions (I'm sorry.)\nvia @zayn\nBut wait - it gets worse. When promoting his new single From Dusk to Dawn with UsWeekly - which we'll admit, isn't our favourite Zayn song - Zayn was asked about his 1D bandmates. At first, he played it cool saying, "We're in touch. Everything is on a civil level. It's not the way it used to be, obviously, because we were spending 24 hours a day in the band and now we're growing as individual men, but we still check in."\nvia @zarrysclouds\nBut when asked about if he still kept in touch with Harry? Zayn spilt the TEA. "To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry even when I was in the band. So I didn't really expect that much of a relationship with him." Yikes. Guess now with a solo career, there's room for these two stars to shine far, far away from each other.
