The beauty world is always changing and constantly innovating new products for all us makeup obsessed freaks to go out to buy and try. If you're anything like me (hopefully you're not), as soon as you see a new makeup product used by your favourite Youtuber, no matter how expensive it is, you will drop everything, run to Sephora and get your hands on it ASAP.

Well, after many years of trying out different makeup from high end to low end, I've come to the conclusion that there are so many high end makeup products that are totally replaceable by drugstore products. I mean at the end of the day, your drugstore L'Oréal does own like half of the brands at Sephora, like Lancome, Giorgio Armani, YSL and Urban Decay.

And thanks to the beauty community on Youtube, we've all cracked down on some of the best drugstore makeup that might as well be better than the high end stuff. Save your $60 foundation money towards your future mortgage and buy a drugstore foundation that's just as good instead.

Here are 9 drugstore products that are way better than the high end stuff:

Instant Age Rewind Concealer // Maybelline

Anyone who watches beauty gurus on Youtube knows that the Instant Age Rewind Concealer is the beauty community's holy grail drugstore concealer. This concealer is perfect for a quick under-eye fix. It's a medium coverage consistency and great for the days you don't feel like putting in too much effort but still want to hide those dark panda eyes.

True Match Super-Blendable Foundation // L'Oréal

I've tried many boujee high-end foundations like Kat Von D's Lock It Foundation, Smashbox's HD Foundation, Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation, just to name a few. But I always find myself coming back to L'Oreal's True Match Foundation as the coverage is just right (not too much and not too little), it blends beautifully, it's totally affordable, and there are so many shades for all ladies of different skin tones.

Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator // NYX

NYX has some pretty killer products, but this one takes the cake. They're Born to Flow Liquid Illuminator is absolutely stunning as a highlight. It genuinely looks like Benefit's High Beam, but with slightly less pigmentation which I actually prefer, because a little too much High Beam and you start looking like the Tin Man.

Pro-tip: Mix this highlighter with a bit of moisture and apply all over the face before foundation to create a gorgeous glowy, dewy look all over the skin.

Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer // L'Oréal

L'Oréal's Light Infusing Primer is one of our absolute favourites! Thanks to Youtuber Jaclyn Hill who introduced this to me last year when watching her videos. It's the perfect luminous primer that you can wear on it's own without, wear underneath, or mix in with your foundation to create glowing finish to your skin. LOVE IT!

Natural Bronzer Bronzing Powder // Rimmel

To all those who worship the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, but are crying because their wallets are dying, here's a much more affordable alternative. Rimmel's Natural Bronzer Bronzing Powder is less than half the price and looks beautiful on the skin after it's blended out. Thanks to this Youtuber, we can now save $30 on a bronzer that looks pretty much the same.

High Definition Finishing Powder // NYX

NYX's Finishing Powder is an absolute dream. The product leaves a super light, natural and silky finish to the skin, and above all, is super oil absorbent. If you have dry skin, you may want to use in moderation. If you have combination skin, apply on the oilier areas of your face. And if you have oily skin, you can go crazy.

Powder Blush // NYX

On top of everything that NYX is doing right, their powder blushes are the bomb dot com. Their blushes are incredibly pigmented and very creamy. Some of our favourite shades are Angel, Ethereal, Coral Dream and Silky Rose.

The Falsies Volum'Express Waterproof Mascara // Maybelline

In my opinion, there is literally no point in buying high end mascara. As you know, your mascara dries out about 2-3 months after opening and you're having to replace it pretty often. Having to fork out over $30 on a high end mascara every single time is pretty unreasonable as they are only marginally better. One of my personal favourites is Maybelline's The Falsies. The result is super voluminous and keeps my poor little straight lashes beautifully curled.

Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer // Maybelline

This eyebrow mascara is one of our favourite brow products as it's super natural and and keeps your brows in place. The applicator is incredibly easy to use and the product does not cake or flake. It also look much more natural than penciling in your eyebrows.
