With the start of a new season comes all kinds of changes. New fashion trends, new foods, new weather, new scenery, etc. In the summer, you probably filled your Insta up with bikini pics, delicious ice cream, and late night beach party pics.\nNow that it's fall, it's time to switch up your aesthetic. It's time for big, cozy sweaters, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and squad pics around the fire. Just because it's getting colder doesn't mean your social media has to get cold too. Check out our suggestions on how to have the best Instagram feed this fall:\n1. Fall OOTD with a rustic background\nFollow in the footsteps of a great Calgary blogger, and dress to the nines in your favourite fall outfit. OOTD's are always a great way to express yourself, and your sense of style.\n2. Stamps Game\nEven if you're not usually the sporty type, head to a Calgary Stampeders game this fall. The energy is always super high and crazy, and the bright colours will look awesome on your feed.\n3. University Sign\nIf you're one of the many students going back to school this fall, it's imperative that you get one of these pictures. Try and take one for every year of your degree, and watch how much you grow and change as a person!\n4. Pumpkin Spice Latte at your favourite Starbucks\nIT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN. I'm probably way too excited about pumpkin spice season, but I'm not ashamed. If lattes aren't your thing, find the most creative pumpkin flavoured treat you can, and gram that. (Also, slide in my DM's and let me know if you find anything really cool, because I will want to try it too lol).\n5. Commonwealth Couch\nIf you're looking for an excuse to be boujee, this is it. Commonwealth is a go-to for a lot of people in Calgary, and you can't go there without snapping a picture on the infamous couch in the girl's washroom.\n6. Downtown views at night\nIf you're new to Calgary, or even if you've lived here forever, you need a picture of the downtown lights at night on your feed. Whether you use a professional DSLR, or snap a quick pic with your iPhone, you're bound to get a lot of likes on this one.\n7. Studying in a cute cafe\nOne thing everyone associates with fall is back to school. Sure, you can spend hours studying in the library, but why not find a cool spot around town and make it your own?\n8. End of summer hike in Fish Creek\nWhile the Rocky Mountains are super close, you don't always have to drive to the mountains to get a hike in. Fish Creek has some super nice, easy paths, good for beginners, or for a quick bike ride.\n9. Peace Bridge\nWhile you're out and about exploring YYC, be sure to make a pit stop at the Peace Bridge. Basically, every Calgarian has a picture here.\n10. Fall Foodgasm at your favourite restaurant\nFood tastes better in the fall. Plus, you can use your baggy sweaters and oversized scarves to hide your winter bod from your followers; it's a win-win.\n11. Calgary Tower\nFall is arguably the best time to visit the tower, because the leaves are changing colour, it's not too hot outside, and the views just seem better.\n12. Halloween Party\nMost University student's favourite holiday, and an excuse to get drunk, if you really need one. If you're anything like me, you'll throw on a pair of bunny ears, a bodysuit, and a tail, and head to the nearest party with your squad. Or you might sit at home and watch horror movies and eat candy, whatever floats your boat.
