This article was originally published in July 2018\nWe just got the scoop from Jasmine Lorimer, Canada's first ever Bachelorette. What she's up to know, how life has been sine after her season of The Bachelorette, and more!\nThe beloved Bachelorette is remembered for her wild and carefree spirit. She was adored for her wanderlust personality and her love for exploring the world. Since her split with her season's winner, Kevin Wendt, Jasmine hasn't been back on TV - but according to her, she's willing to head back to The Bachelor franchise 😉.\nView this post on Instagram When you’ve maxed out your dry shampoo limit... it’s a top knot and head scarf to the rescue. 💁🏼♀️ (tutorial coming soon) A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Aug 17, 2018 at 7:41pm PDT\nShe's now residing in Vancouver and Whistler, BC, where she travels, works, and posts the most amazing Instagram content you could ever dream of. I'm serious, she has the best feed EVER!\nWell, we got ahold of Jasmine and asked her all of the questions that you're dying to know. Does she still talk to her now-ex, Kevin Wendt? Does she still keep in contact with any of the guys from her season of The Bachelorette? Is she dating now?! Also, since she's now living in Vancouver, we got all the details on her favourite places in the city.\nView this post on Instagram I’m currently cruising around Norway in a van singing German songs (Guten Morgen 🤟🏼) and definitely not in Canada floating around on this lake, but I wanted to share this photo so I could show you guys the new stickers I made for #PRIDE month, which is right now!! This is my favourite collection so far and I hope you guys have fun with them. 20% of proceeds will go to @glsen, a non-profit set on educating teachers and students within schools, and advocating against bullying and harassment of #LGBTQ kids. 🌈 LINK IN BIO A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Jun 18, 2019 at 5:13pm PDT\n1. Describe a typical day in your life in Vancouver.\nSince I'm still living part-time in Whistler, my Vancouver days are mainly spent working (usually 12-hour days) at Brush Salon. I love the atmosphere there and being located in the heart of Gastown allows for some fantastic post-work eats. Mezcal, Tacofino, and Nicili are all down the street. Yum.\nView this post on Instagram Welcome to my life (sung like the Simple Plan song) A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Mar 21, 2018 at 5:35pm PDT\n2. What are your top five favourite places in Vancouver?\n1. Third Beach\n2. Capilano Suspension Bridge\n3. The Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park (for summer concerts)\n4. Commercial Drive\n5. The seawall at Coal Harbour (float-plane watching)\nView this post on Instagram I love sleeping in, but as soon as this time of year hits, I find myself wanting to make the most of every hour of the day. Waking up with the sunshine and escaping the heat with a @starbuckscanada Cold Foam Cappuccino is just another one of my springtime morning pleasures. #mymorningmyway #partner A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on May 25, 2018 at 7:54am PDT\n3. Do you still get recognized on the street as the Bachelorette? Would you say that The Bachelorette is still a large part of your identity?\nI tend to be approached more regularly in Toronto rather than Vancouver, but it does happen once in a while. I do feel like being The Bachelorette in Canada has remained a part of my identity because it has morphed into a large portion of my personal brand. On social media, I am still interacting with the same audience who knew me as the Bachelorette, and with ABC producing spin offs which now include international contestants, there's still some relevancy surrounding our low-key Canadian version of the series.\nView this post on Instagram Being really hip and with-it as tourists. . . @sunwingvacations #sunwingmode @royaltonresorts @royaltonsaintlucia #royaltonsaintlucia #hideawaysaintlucia #saintlucia #jasmineandkevinssunwingadventure A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Feb 27, 2017 at 8:44am PST\n4. We know that you split very amicably with Kevin Wendt, the winner from your season of The Bachelorette. Did you watch him on The Bachelor Winter Games? If so, how did you feel about him on the show?\nI did watch the season of Winter Games. I told myself I wasn't going to, and when I first found out, I was a little thrown off. Partly uncomfortable... partly wanting to be on it myself (it was made for me!).\nI thought I got off scot-free not having to see any of my ex's continue as The Bachelor Canada, yet here we were on a much larger scale. American television.\nEventually I accepted that it was happening, gave in, watched the whole thing and seriously loved it. It was surprisingly easy to watch Kevin on there and I genuinely thought it was a great show!\nView this post on Instagram Been living out of vans and tents, surviving on liverwurst and gas station hot dogs, and haven’t seen the sun go down in 9 days 🌞 We’ve made it from Germany, through Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland, and just crossed into Russia this afternoon... which is about as weird a place as you might think (but definitely my favourite so far). One more week to go in the #BalticSeaCircle2019 rally. It’s been a trip 🚌 🌈 . 📸 @daniel_behncke A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Jun 23, 2019 at 5:47pm PDT\n5. We're dying to know - are you still in contact with anyone from your season of The Bachelorette? If so, who?!\nI am in contact with a few of the guys! I still talk to Kevin W., Benoit and Mike once in a while, and regularly keep in touch with Kevin P. We've even gone for a drink in Vancouver, but it's hard to catch him when he's not globe trotting.\nA lot of people ask if I speak to Mikhel, but we haven't had much contact over the last year and a half or so.\nView this post on Instagram Your stomach thinks all potatoes are mashed. #showerthoughts A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Apr 15, 2018 at 7:21pm PDT\n6. Have you been in any serious relationships since The Bachelorette?\nI did start up a relationship with someone whom I had known a few years ago. He was a good friend and he moved from Australia for us to try things out.\nWe moved in together very quickly and it was great, but it was a challenge from the start, knowing that one of us would have to choose to live in another country far away from our families and friends. We lasted eight months but, unfortunately, that relationship has very recently ended.\nView this post on Instagram It was a wet one. . @noahrainwear A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Jan 9, 2018 at 5:22pm PST\n7. What are you currently working on? Do you have any special projects going on that your fans can look forward to?\nI am currently in the process of working with my design team to launch a website. It'll be great because it will give me a platform to interact more personally with my audience. I'm going to have a section on the blog for a Q&A, as well as a section for beauty tutorials, travel, and relationship opinion pieces.\nI love connecting with other women and I'd like to create a space where we can all get inspired, get honest, and build each other up. We plan to launch by summer.\nView this post on Instagram I'm ready for this time of year again 🌱 A post shared by 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 (@jasmine.lorimer) on Feb 21, 2018 at 9:23am PST\n8. Can you please tell us what the term "goat groupie" from your Instagram bio means?\nHaha! I just generally love goats so much. I follow way too many goat-based Instagram pages, and I love how bouncy and jumpy they are. My main goal in life is to own a small one as a house pet. I had two growing up, but they were in the barn... I'm talkin' like I want it as a cat.
