Nothing says childhood nostalgia quite like Nestle's Dibs. As a kid, there's no problem that a tub of bite-sized ice cream bits can't fix. As an adult, Nestle's Dibs were the ideal solution to indulging in a frozen treat for a fraction of the calories. It's unclear when, but Nestle made the decision to discontinue Dibs in Canada, to the disappointment of many. To this day, Canadians are still feeling the loss - so much so, that they've started a petition to bring the treat back to store shelves. Featured on Anchorman Canada Via 6ixbuzztv, Instagram The petition is called "Bring back nestle dibs to Canada" and it's now live on change.org. It has 1,181 signatures, edging close to the final goal of 1,500. "It's infuriating that dibs are not available in Canada anymore," writes Matthew Trikha, the guy behind the online petition. "If dibs are brought back it'll bring joy to millions of Canadians. Dibs are the best frozen ice cream treat and WE CANADIANS DESERVE THEM! i am sick and tired of us canadians being left out." Via Change.org Many Canadians agree with Trikha's sentiment. "Dibs were one of the best treats on the market and it's beyond my comprehension why Nestle would refuse to sell them in Canada anymore considering just how popular they are," wrote Tammy from Alberta.
