These 5 Tips On How To Style Fine Hair From An Ottawa YouTuber Will Change Your Life
No matter what hair you have, you're always super jealous of other peoples hair types. I have normal hair, but a ton of my friends have fine hair and they hate how hard it is to style. They say it gets greasy easily, their curls fall and they're only able to wear it straight.
Thank god for beauty YouTubers that can show us exactly what we need to know. A YouTuber from Ottawa named Erin Elizabeth, who also is a social media influencer, also deals with fine hair. Instead of complaining about it, she makes videos to help girls to style their fine hair.
If you're hair is super fine, these hairstyles will save your life. They're simple, easy, and would look cute on anyone! I mean, when are braids ever not in?
1. A braided ponytail
Put your hair into a side part and then you'll create a French braid down the side. Stop the braid at about the middle of your ear and grab the rest of your hair and put it into a low ponytail. To spice it up, you can put a ribbon or wrap your hair around the elastic to give it a more done up feel.
2. Half up half down twist
For this hairstyle, part your hair in the middle or to one side and take a section from both sides and start twisting. Then once you bring both to the back, secure it with a clear elastic. Then, on one side take a piece of hair from the front and twist it into the twist, tucking it in to make it look fuller. Do this twice on each side and then pull on it to make it look looser and more full.
3. Twisted buns
Part your hair into two sections and start twisting one of the sides and add hair in as you twist down your head. Once you've twisted all the way to the bottom, grab a hair tie and and create a little messy bun. Do the same on the other side. To make it look a little more messy, bobby pin the buns and then mess them up afterwards.
4. Quick and mature messy bun
For this hairstyle, start off with a ponytail and then create a little loop and tie your hair elastic around the loop. Then take the hair from underneath and wrap that around the elastic and secure it with a bobby pin. Mess up the bun however you want, but it definitely looks cuter when it's messier.
5. Teased pony
For this hairstyle, start by teasing the roots of your hair. Then, gather half of your hair and bobby pin it where you want the ponytail to be so the tease stays in place. And then just tie your hair into a low ponytail and tease the ponytail as well. This look is definitely meant to be messy and voluminous.
