First there was the short boot, then the mini boot, and then the tall boot. Then Ugg started adorning their footwear with buttons, straps and laces. Now? They're making them really, really tall.\nIf you ever thought "boy, I love uggs, but I really wish they came thigh-high" then you're really in luck.\nAt Y/Project’s Wednesday show at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the label rolled out a collaborative collection with Ugg featuring a slouchy, over-the-knee version of the brand’s famous boot.\nThey look like this:\nFriends, I regret to inform you that thigh-high Uggs exist now. I'm sorry that you have to see this.https://t.co/Pd5yIsioSP pic.twitter.com/deEw5hALRc\n— Kim Bhasin (@KimBhasin) January 17, 2018\nUh, yeah. While Ugg boots have remained a steady trend in the fashion world, we don't know if we can get on board with this.\nThe reason for this monstrosity? The label's creative director Glenn Martens says: “Putting on Uggs is like putting your foot in a warm pot of butter, and I thought why not elevate that and immerse your full legs. So we decided to design an Ugg boot that climbs up to the crotch and covers the whole leg.”\nWho doesn't love the feeling of warm butter all the way up to their crotch, right?\nThe boots will apparently come in slouch Uggs, over-the-knee Uggs, layered knee-length Uggs and Ugg slides. And if they're tugging at your early 2000s-loving heart, you might want to start saving now. The boots will reportedly retail for up anywhere from $270 to $1,380 and will be available in fall 2018.
